The Newcastle United man is linked with Aston Villa.

Aston Villa-linked Isaac Hayden has taken to Twitter to apologise for his red card in Newcastle United’s 0-0 draw away to Cardiff City on Saturday.
The English midfielder who, according to The Mirror, is wanted by Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce, was given his marching orders on 66 minutes for a reckless tackle on Josh Murphy.
Hayden, who has handed in a request to leave Newcastle this summer, had only been on the pitch for some 20 minutes after replacing Javier Manquillo at half time.
However, the 23-year-old has owned up to the error in judgement and promised to make amends going forward.
Big hint?
The Newcastle ace has been linked with a loan move to Aston Villa in recent days but if these comments are anything to go by then Hayden does not envisage an exit.
Why would he promise manager Rafael Benitez and United fans that he will “repair” the mistake if he thought there was the slightest chance that he could leave before the month was out?
It doesn’t add up and therefore Aston Villa should probably look elsewhere, if they aren’t already.
