Newcastle United and Liverpool are reportedly interested in Sheffield United starlet David Brooks.

The report claims that a host of top-flight clubs are chasing Brooks, with the likes of Newcastle United, Liverpool, and West Ham vying for the 20-year-old’s signature.

Sheffield United are reluctant to sell their hottest prospect, but the Mirror reports that Liverpool are planning a tempting £10 million offer for the midfielder.
Brooks is gradually developing into one of the most exciting talents in the Championship this term. He has already registered two assists in his first 10 appearances of the season, and has put in some eye-catchy performances.

Of the three mentioned clubs, Newcastle would be an ideal choice for his development.
Both Rafael Benitez and Jurgen Klopp like to give youngsters a chance to establish themselves. However, the competition in midfield at Liverpool is too high, and Klopp won’t be able to integrate him straightaway into the first team.
That does not mean that he would get a free ride at Newcastle, but Benitez can play the patience game with him, and develop him as a good Premier League player.
He has already shown his qualities for the England under-20s at the Toulon Tournament earlier this year. And under the tutelage of a great manager like Benitez, he can take his game to a whole new level.
