Newcastle winger welcomes Cardiff new boy to the Premier League.
Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has welcomed Cardiff City signing Bobby Reid to the Premier League.
Reid signed for Cardiff from Bristol City, with BBC Sport reporting the fee to be £10 million.
The striker netted 19 goals last season for the Robins and Aarons believes his pal has earned a shot at the big time.
Reid is Cardiff’s most expensive summer signing since winning promotion and strengthens Neil Warnock’s side.
He had previously spent his entire career with Bristol City, save for three loan spells, the most recent of which was in 2014/15 with Plymouth.
Newcastle ace Aarons is himself battling to get his career back on track after injuries halted his momentum.
If he acts on his words to Reid, and works hard, then he too may eventually get his reward.
