Newcastle United are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window, according to journalist Miguel Delaney’s weekly newsletter for the Independent.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Newcastle are ready to pay Pogba more than £300,000 per week to join them on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
However, the France international midfielder is not interested in a switch to Newcastle right now.
Pogba is out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season.
Manchester United’s Pogba would be a coup for Newcastle
In our opinion, Pogba would be a coup for Newcastle, but we do not think that Manchester United midfielder will want to move to St. James’ Park.
The 29-year-old is one of the most famous footballers in the world and is a very good midfielder.

Pogba would be a massive signing for Newcastle, and club owners, PIF, would be able to make a huge statement by bringing the 2018 World Cup winner to St. James’ Park.
However, in our view, Pogba will not move to Newcastle, as the Magpies are not in a position to challenge for major trophies and win titles.
