The Newcastle United man says he need to do more in attack.
Newcastle United midfielder Mohamed Diame has admitted to NUFC TV that he needs to give more to justify his selection by manager Rafael Benitez.
The 29-year-old joined Newcastle in the summer after Benitez triggered his £4.5 million release clause at Hull City, according to Sky Sports.

The former West Ham United man is a regular in the Magpies’ midfield since joining, though he is yet to score and has one assist in eight Championship outings.
Although he’s a midfielder, the Senegal international is no stranger to finding the net after scoring 10 times for Hull in the Championship last term, having hit four in 12 Premier League games during the 2014-15 campaign.
Newcastle fans are yet to see that aspect of his game – and Diame is well aware of it.

Asked by NUFC TV if there was more to come from him, he said: “Yes, I think so,” he said. “When Rafa Benitez called me, he called me for more than I am giving at the moment.
“As I say, I am still working hard, that’s why I think I am still in the team, but need to give more offensively.”
Diame has done okay aside from his lack of goals, which explains why he is a first-team regular under Benitez, and he may start Saturday’s visit of Brentford.
Benitez’s side sit third in the Championship after 11 games, three points behind top-of-the-table Huddersfield Town.
