Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong has failed to score a Championship goal for Bolton Wanderers.
Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong has failed to impress Bolton Wanderers supporters, during his loan spell with Phil Parkinson’s side.
Armstrong joined Bolton from Newcastle in the summer and there was initially great excitement about the striker’s arrival.
However, Armstrong has not been able to have the desired impact at the Macron Stadium.

The 20-year-old forward has been handed 12 Championship appearances by Bolton, but he has failed to find the back of the net once.
And Armstrong’s latest showing, during Bolton’s match against Fulham, has come in for heavy criticism.
With Bolton sat near the bottom of the table, Armstrong had the chance to secure a vital three points for his side, when presented with a glorious opportunity to score.

However, Armstrong fluffed his chance to put Bolton 2-0 up, and in the end Parkinson’s side were made to pay.
Thomas Cairney nodded in a last minute equaliser to ensure Fulham claimed a point, and Armstrong has been widely criticised by Bolton supporters for his poor finishing.
