Achraf Lazaar has struggled at Newcastle United.

Newcastle United will listen to offers for Achraf Lazaar, according to ChronicleLive.
The report, though, has claimed that Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez will do so only after giving the 26-year-old, who can operate as a left-back or out wide, the chance to show what he is capable of in the summer.

The Morocco international will also reportedly get the chance to play in the Magpies’ pre-season friendly matches.
Future bleak for Achraf Lazaar?
Lazaar joined Newcastle from Palermo in the summer of 2016, but the versatile footballer has struggled to make an impact at St. James’ Park.

The left-back was sent out on a season-long loan deal to Italian club Benevento in the summer of 2017, but the former Varese star struggled at the Italian club as well.
While it must be encouraging for Lazaar that Benitez is (reportedly) willing to give him the chance to impress in pre-season, it is hard to see the left-back, who earns £15,000 per week as salary according to The Daily Star, at Newcastle next season.
