Newcastle United and West Ham United will have to pay £30 million for Burnley central defender James Tarkowski, according to The Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail have reported that Burnley want £30 million as transfer fee for the England international central defender.
Tarkowski, linked with Newcastle and West Ham, is out of contact at Burnley at the end of the season.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Newcastle want to sign the 29-year-old in the January transfer window.
90min reported last week that West Ham manager David Moyes wants to sign Tarkowski on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
Newcastle should bid for James Tarkowski now
In our view, if Newcastle want to sign Tarkowski, then they should bid for the English player now.

West Ham could end up in the Champions League for next season, and the Hammers will surely be a more attractive and appealing club for the 29-year-old in the summer of 2022.
Now, Burnley may not be willing to sell Tarkowski in the January transfer window to Newcastle.
After all, the Magpies recently signed Chris Wood from the Clarets.
However, if Burnley want £30 million and Newcastle are willing to pay that, then the Clarets could find it hard not to cash in on a player who will leave for free in a few months’ time.
