Newcastle United are said to be keen to offload Matz Sels in the summer transfer window.

Newcastle United’s plan to sell Matz Sels to an English club, as reported by DH Net, may be destined to fail.
Sels is set to be offloaded by Newcastle in the summer transfer window, but they want him to stay in England.
However, finding a buyer in the same country could be tough, due to Sels’ terrible first impression.

The Belgian stopper was awful in his first season in the Championship, when he swiftly dropped out of Rafael Benitez’s first-team.
Sels looked light weight and error prone, and any Championship or Premier League side would be taking a big risk by taking a chance on him.

Sels has played Champions League football this season, and has become Anderlecht’s number one, but he seemed to struggle to cope with the physicality of the Championship.
And Newcastle would surely be better off finding a buyer from abroad than England, as there may well be a lack of suitors for his services.
