A select look at the latest transfer news and gossip regarding the Magpies.

According to a report from the Chronicle, Newcastle’s impending deal to sign Everton defender Brendan Galloway on loan will cost the Magpies £1 million in a loan fee.
The report claims that the Tyneside club will also cover 100% of Galloway’s wages throughout the agreement.
The focus on Newcastle’s transfer activity thus far this summer has been firmly on new arrivals, but the Shields Gazette has alleged that at least six first-team players will depart the club before the end of the window.
The report claims that as well as Moussa Sissoko’s inevitable departure, Siem de Jong will join PSV on loan, Kevin Mbabu could be loaned out for first-team experience, whilst Emmanuel Riviere, Yoan Gouffran, and Sammy Ameobi, all have no future under Benitez.

The Chronicle claim that sources in Lancashire have told them that newly-promoted Premier League side Burnley want to sign left-back Paul Dummett.
Dummett has established himself as a consistent and impressive performer when fit for the Magpies, and it is thought that the Clarets are not the only top-flight side considering a move for the Wales international.
The 24-year-old is a player that both Rafael Benitez and the club hierarchy want to hold on to.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton has refuted speculation that the Scottish club could sign young Magpies striker Adam Armstrong on loan.
The Gers had been linked with the man who scored 20 goals in 40 games in League One for Coventry City last season, but Warburton has told the Scottish Sun that although he is an admirer of the player, he will not be ending up at Ibrox this summer.
He said: “He’s not for us. He’s a very talented player — but he’s not coming to Rangers.”
