Newcastle United are in desperate need of new signings on deadline.

Newcastle head into deadline day having brought in just one signing, landing Chelsea youngster Kenedy on loan until the end of the season last week, but manager Rafael Benitez desperately needs more.
A goalkeeper and a striker are imperative for the Magpies, and here are some of the main names to keep an eye on surrounding Newcastle’s activity on transfer deadline day.

Martin Dubravka
Given that Rafael Benitez has chopped and changed between Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot over the last year, it’s no surprise that a new goalkeeper is a priority for Newcastle, and the Daily Mail report that they are hopeful of signing Martin Dubravka.
Dubravka, 29, only joined Sparta Prague last summer, but his impressive displays have sparked interest from Newcastle, and Benitez will be hoping to tie up a loan deal for the Slovakian international today.
Eliaquim Mangala
Newcastle fans may not have put a centre back at the top of their list of priorities for the January transfer window, but the Daily Mail report that Benitez is targeting a loan deal for Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala.
With City splashing the cash on Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte, Mangala is even further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, and Newcastle may now attempt to push through a loan deal for the Frenchman today.

Henri Saivet
One potential outgoing surrounds midfielder Henri Saivet, who has been a virtual outcast under Benitez save for a couple of appearances over the last six weeks, and now looks set to leave Newcastle two years since signing from Bordeaux.
Sabah in Turkey report that the Senegalese midfielder is set to join Sivasspor, bringing an end to his miserable spell on Tyneside as the deadline approaches.
Richmond Boakye
It’s no great secret that Newcastle need a striker, but having missed out on Nicolai Jorgensen and Daniel Sturridge this week, Benitez and co are having to switch targets yet again, this time to Boakye.
The Ghanaian hitman has scored 39 goals in 48 games for Serbian side Red Star Belgrade, and The Chronicle claim he is one option for Newcastle on deadline day – despite concerns over him gaining a work permit.
