Newcastle United are interested in signing Harry Kane from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport.
The report has claimed that some figures at Newcastle think that there is nothing to lose by at least trying to sign Kane from Tottenham.
The Magpies are aware that convincing the 28-year-old striker – described as “world class” and “fantastic” by Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte in Football.London in January 2022 – is going to be hard, but there is a suggestion that they could make a bid in the summer of 2022.

In our view, it is unlikely that Kane will leave Tottenham for Newcastle in the January transfer window.
Now, of course, we know that Newcastle have the richest owners in football club.
However, money is not everything, especially for a player such as Kane who is already well paid.
Kane will want to win major trophies and continue to bang in the goals and become the top scorer in Premier League history.
Newcastle, who are likely to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship, are unlikely to be too appealing to Kane now.
