Newcastle United reportedly want Kasey Palmer, with Rafael Benitez looking to improve the quality of his team.

Newcastle United fans should be enthused over the rumours linking them with former Huddersfield Town man Kasey Palmer, after reading what David Wager had to say about the attacking midfielder.
Palmer was on loan at Huddersfield two seasons ago, when he was just a youngster, but the Terriers boss already spotted his quality.

The attacking midfielder, who the Daily Mail have said is wanted by Newcastle, was talked of in glowing terms by Wagner.

“We had that with Kasey Palmer and Izzy Brown, and Ben Chilwell when he was here on loan from Leicester,” Wagner said to the Daily Mirror.
“They have unbelievable quality which I rarely find in Germany at this age, to be honest.”
Palmer is yet to prove himself at Premier League level, but he has shone in the Championship.
Newcastle have already proven to Chelsea that they can be a good place to house their prospects, after Kenedy’s successful spell at St. James’ Park last season.

Palmer would help to improve Newcastle’s attack, and could increase the creativity available for Rafael Benitez next term.
Newcastle are known to be looking for additions this summer, but Martin Dubravka has been the only permanent addition that the Magpies have made to date.
