Armstrong of course is a big talent for the future at Newcastle United but he has not yet made a solid breakthrough into the Newcastle first-team.
Competition for first-team places in the striking positions is fierce at Newcastle but Armstrong will no doubt believe he has a chance of one day being a starting frontman at his beloved club.
