Newcastle United striker Joselu has suggested to Marca that he has the chance to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old striker, though, has suggested that his future will depend on Newcastle as well.

Joselu told Marca: “I have one year left at Newcastle, I have possibilities to move but it will depend on the new board that will come to the club.”

Newcastle United exit

Joselu has failed to make a massive impact at Newcastle, and it will not be a big loss for the Magpies if he leaves in the summer transfer window.

According to WhoScored, the 29-year-old striker made five starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Magpies this season, scoring two goals in the process.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the Spaniard made 19 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Rafael Benitez’s side, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

Joselu joined Newcastle from Stoke City in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5 million.

It will be interesting to see how much transfer fee Newcastle will get for Joselu if they do sell him in the summer transfer window.
