And Rafael Benitez’s side would be seriously smart, if they did push for the 21-year-old this window.
Travis is yet to develop a reputation which would see his price-tag soar, but it seems inevitable that a player of his talent will start getting noticed soon.
Travis is still only 21, and Newcastle would almost certainly secure a player with great potential for the future.
And by spotting him early the Magpies may just be able to land him, before his price rises to a point where they simply cannot afford him with their budget.
