Fulham are likely to be interested in buying Aleksandar Mitrovic from Newcastle United in the summer.

If Fulham want to buy Aleksandar Mitrovic permanently, then Newcastle United should use their valuation of Tom Cairney against them.
Newcastle have been linked with Cairney over the past four transfer windows, but the Magpies have been unable to afford a deal for the midfielder.

Fulham have priced Newcastle out of the market for the midfielder, with Sky Sports suggesting that they wanted £40 million for the Scottish international last January.
The Cottagers’ own valuation of their midfielder could work against them this time around though, as Newcastle now have negotiating power with Mitrovic.
If Fulham are valuing Cairney at £40 million, they are simply going to have to pay up for Mitrovic, as he is becoming a player of similar importance to Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.

Mitrovic has netted five goals in his last four appearances for Fulham, with the striker already one of the most feared front-men in the Championship.
And Newcastle could be set to land a sizeable fee, if Fulham do try to buy the Serbian international permanently in the summer transfer window.
