Newcastle United have already been in discussions with Chelsea over Tammy Abraham.
Newcastle United appear to have missed out in the race for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham (BBC Sport), but they should return to Stamford Bridge in an attempt to snap up Nathaniel Chalobah on loan.
Newcastle are known to be on the hunt for a new central midfielder this summer, and Chalobah could be a smart addition.

The 22-year-old looks unlikely to play a prominent role at Chelsea once again, meaning a loan move is set to be the best option for his development.
And Chalobah already seems to be a cut above many of his contemporaries.
Chalobah has impressed hugely at the Euro under-21 Championships, where he has played a starring role for England.

The youngster has dictated the pace of the game from midfield, and while he does not have much experience at Premier League level, he already looks like he has the capabilities to play in the top flight.
While Chelsea may not want to lose him on a permanent deal, a loan move could suit the London side.
And if Chalobah is available, then Newcastle should make sure that they are at the front of the queue for the youngster’s signature, as he could bring a lot of quality to St. James’ Park.
