Newcastle United should move for Yannick Bolasie this summer

Newcastle United would be wise to attempt to bring Yannick Bolasie to St. James’ Park this summer.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Everton are considering selling Yannick Bolasie and that should encourage Newcastle United to make a move.

Bolasie has struggled at Everton since returning from injury, with his form poor towards the back end of last campaign.

Marco Silva and Marcel Brands are now considering selling Bolasie, with interest mounting in the winger.

And Newcastle should place themselves at the front of the queue to take the Congolese attacker.

The Daily Mail reported how Newcastle wanted Bolasie before he took the move to Everton, back in 2015, and Rafael Benitez’s side could still benefit from adding the trickster.

Newcastle had Kenedy on loan last term, but it is looking increasingly difficult to bring the Brazilian back, which could leave a gap in Benitez’s squad down the wing.

If Newcastle were to fill that space in their starting line-up with a player of Bolasie’s quality then they could be a major threat.

The wide-man would have the ability to light up St. James’ Park, with his skill making him a huge threat to defenders across the league.

And if Everton have placed the 29-year-old up for sale, then the Magpies should attempt to bring him to Tyneside this summer.
