Newcastle United are believed to have a big transfer budget and they should move for Liverpool’s Nathaniel Clyne.

Newcastle United should consider moving for Liverpool’s Nathaniel Clyne in the summer transfer window, if Rafael Benitez does have a large transfer budget.
The Chronicle claim that Benitez is finally set to be backed with funds by Mike Ashley in the summer.
And if Newcastle do have millions to spend, then Clyne could prove a valuable addition.
The Liverpool full-back is likely to be forced out of Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up next term, after the emergence of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

However, Clyne remains a very solid Premier League right-back, and he could improve Newcastle’s line-up.
DeAndre Yedlin currently plays on the right-hand side of Newcastle’s defence, and while the American has done a solid job, he could still be upgraded.

There are still come concerns about Yedlin’s defensive ability, even though his pace is a real weapon.
Yedlin could even be converted into a winger, as a potential partnership with Clyne down the right-hand side would be an exciting prospect.
And Newcastle should put the Liverpool man near the top of their wishlist, as Benitez eyes up potential additions for next season.
