Enzo Perez
Newcastle United are expected to remain busy in the summer transfer window.
According to reports from The Sun, Rafa Benitez, the Magpies manager, will be demanding a massive transfer war-chest, thought to be in the region of £100 million to sign players of his choice.
The midfield is one area where Rafa will be looking to bring quality players. And that is why he should target Valencia’s Enzo Perez in the summer.
Availability
According to reports from Superdeporte, cash strapped Los Che are planning to cash in on the 31-year-old who has a contract till 2019. It means that Newcastle can get him at a reasonable price.

Quality
Perez is a top quality defensive midfielder. He is very good at tackling, blocking, making interceptions and is capable of picking the right passes.
In 26 La Liga appearances this season, Perez has made 3.1 tackles and 2.3 interception per game, according to Whoscored.com. His 87.4% passing accuracy suggests that he is very good with the ball on his feet.
Experience
The Argentine midfielder can bring loads of experience to the Newcastle side. He was an integral part of the Benfica squad that won five major titles, including the domestic treble in 2013-14, and reached two Europa League finals.
Given Rafa’s strong association with Valencia, where he is still loved and respected, the La Liga club could be willing to do a transfer for Perez if the offer is right.
