Newcastle United are on the look for a new number 10, and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish is reportedly available.

Jack Grealish is already a Newcastle United hero, after his role in helping Rafael Benitez’s side win the Championship last season, and now may by the time to bring the Republic of Ireland youth international to St. James’ Park.
According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (print edition; 5th November 2017; page 59), Villa are now considering offloading Grealish in the January to transfer window, as the Midlands club looks to raise funds.
And he could be the perfect option for Newcastle, as Benitez’s side look for an injection of creativity.
The Magpies have made a solid start upon returning to the Premier League, but their success has been largely down to their defensive strength.

Newcastle have lacked quality going forward on occasion, and there is definitely room for a new number 10 on Tyneside.
Ayoze Perez has simply not done enough this term, while Mohamed Diame does not look to have enough class to perform in the role.

Grealish has not played any first-team football this season, due to injury, but he has previously proven to be a threat at Premier League level.
The 22-year-old does need to find some consistency, but he has a great amount of potential.
And if Villa are considering offloading the talented youngster, then Newcastle should make sure they are first in the queue for his signature.
