Newcastle United are likely to be on the look out for a new left-back next season.

According to a report in the Liverpool Echo, Andrew Robertson is unlikely to be moving to Anfield this summer.
The Daily Mirror had claimed that Robertson would become Liverpool’s first summer signing.
However, the deal appears to be in doubt now – and Newcastle United should swoop to snap the Scottish international up.
The Hull Daily Mail have suggested that Hull are resigned to losing Robertson this summer, as they know they won’t be able to keep him without Premier League football.

And Newcastle would be well served to make a bid for the 23-year-old.
The Magpies will need to strengthen at left-back this summer, as there are some doubts over Paul Dummett’s ability in the top flight.
Dummett has been a solid option in the Championship, but Robertson would be a considerable upgrade.

At 23, the Hull man also has a lot of room to improve.
And with the defender being available for £8 million (Daily Mail), Rafael Benitez would be smart to capitalise on Liverpool’s hesitation and snap up Robertson this summer.
