Newcastle United are expected to make a number of additions over the summer transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City are eager to loan out Patrick Roberts to a Premier League club this summer – and Newcastle United should make sure they are at the head of the queue for the youngster’s signature.
Roberts has spent the last 18 months out on loan at Celtic, and he has become a real fans’ favourite with Brendan Rodgers’ side.
The winger is blessed with a great amount of skill, and he looks like he has the potential to become a major attacking threat.

Celtic want to bring Roberts back to Glasgow, but City are keen for the England youth international to gain Premier League experience.
And Newcastle could benefit from adding Roberts to their squad, as Rafael Benitez’s men aim to compete back in the top flight.
The closest player Newcastle have to Roberts in their current squad is Rolando Aarons, but he can simply not be relied upon for fitness.
And if Newcastle do want to add a genuine trickster to their side for the upcoming campaign, then Roberts could be the perfect man to fill that role.
