West Ham United have put Marko Arnautovic up for sale, and Newcastle United need to improve their attack.

West Ham only signed Arnautovic from Stoke City in the summer, but he could now make a swift exit from the London Stadium, if reports are to be believed.
It is fair to say that Arnautovic has not made a good start at West Ham, but the London side’s lack of patience with the winger does come as a surprise.

Newcastle United should now be tracking Arnautovic’s availability, as the January window edges closer to opening.
While Arnautovic would not typically be a player Rafael Benitez would consider, it could be the perfect move for both parties.
Benitez would teach Arnautovic discipline and demand that he shows a willingness to defend, as well as attack.
And if Benitez could manage to get the Austrian international working harder, then he would be an ideal fit for Newcastle.

There is little doubting Arnautovic’s quality when he is in possession, and his creative ability would increase Newcastle’s attacking threat considerably.
The Magpies have struggled for goals so far this term, and Arnautovic’s arrival at St. James’ Park would help solve that problem, if Benitez could complete a transfer in January.
