According to the Daily Mirror, Newcastle United value Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish at £25 million, and if they feel he is worth that much then Kenedy looks even more of a bargain.

Newcastle are apparently willing to pay £25 million for Grealish, but for that money they could reportedly sign Kenedy on a permanent deal from Chelsea (Daily Mail).

Kenedy now looks a much better value-for-money deal that Grealish for Newcastle this summer.

Although Grealish has shown his potential at Championship level, he would still be a gamble for any Premier League side to bring in.

The attacking midfielder is yet to truly prove himself at the top level, but Kenedy has already shown Newcastle what he can offer.

The Brazilian impressed on a loan spell at St. James’ Park, after joining on loan from Chelsea last term.

Kenedy’s pace and power added a great deal to Newcastle, and he was a major reason why they were able to pull away from the relegation zone.

Kenedy and Grealish are the same age, so they both still have plenty of time to develop ahead of them, and if Newcastle are looking to sign one of the pair this summer, then they should favour the Chelsea man.
