Chelsea youngster Kenedy has been linked with Newcastle United in the January transfer window.

The Magpies, who are struggling for survival in the Premier League at the moment, have been linked with a move for Chelsea youngster Kenedy.
The Daily Mail reported of Newcastle’s interest last month in signing the 21-year-old on loan for the rest of the season.

Newcastle were linked with a move for the former Brazil Under-20 international in the summer of 2017 as well.
The Chronicle reported in August 2017 that the Magpies had made a loan bid for Kenedy, who can operate as a winger or as a left-back.
It has now been reported by the same publication that Newcastle are optimistic about securing the services of the talented and promising Brazilian youngster this month.

“Chelsea player Kenedy is likely to join as soon as the Blues secure reinforcements,” states the report in The Chronicle. “There is some optimism about that deal – even if it has been delayed.”
Kennedy is a good and promising player, and his versatility would be important for Newcastle in their quest to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
