Newcastle United are back in for Renan Lodi as they consider a push to sign the Nottingham Forest loanee this summer.
That’s according to 90Min, who claim that Lodi has joined Kieran Tierney on Newcastle’s wish list for the summer.
Arsenal left back Tierney has been heavily linked of late but it looks like Lodi is up there for Newcastle as well.
Lodi is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
Forest are understood to have a £25million permanent option as part of that loan deal but Lodi could feasibly say no.
That’s what Newcastle may well be hoping for as they look to swoop in and bring Lodi to Tyneside.

Renan Lodi is close with Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes
Newcastle already have a couple of Brazilian stars in Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes.
Adding a few more to play alongside them may not be the worst idea and Lodi already knows Bruno well.
Lodi, 24, emerged at Athletico Paranaense in Brazil and played alongside Bruno there.
The pair turned out 38 times together with Athletico, losing just eight times in that run and claiming 25 victories.
Lodi and Bruno went their separate ways but the now-Newcastle midfielder admitted in 2019 that he was still close with Lodi.
The left back was talking up a move to Atletico Madrid for Bruno, but that never materialised.
Fast forward more than three years and Lodi could end up reuniting with Bruno after all, this time with Newcastle.
That would surely appeal to Lodi, who wanted to join Newcastle last year according to Globo Esporte back in his native Brazil.
Much will depend on Forest’s plans here, and whether Lodi wants to extend his stay at the City Ground.
If there is a glimmer of hope for Newcastle, the Magpies may well push for a deal.
