The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has made some comments that will please Spurs fans, but not those at Newcastle.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has been talking about his plans for the next three years of his career – insisting his best is yet to come.
The French midfielder has had an interesting year so far. He suffered relegation with Newcastle United but then played a pivotal role as France made it to the final of the European Championships in the summer.

He has been speaking to Le Parisien this week about his 2016 so far and is clearly pleased with the progress he has made:
“One of the best (years of my career). The year I signed professional in Toulouse (2007) and played thirty games, this is also part of good seasons.
“I would say that these two years are the best of my career.

“I have always worked hard to achieve my goals. At times, it took more time but I am always succeeded. As they say, better late than never.
“I always wanted to sign for a big club, (now) I’m at Tottenham. I had the chance to make up for the World Cup at the Euro with Les Bleus, playing as a starter in the last few games and make good benefits. Now it is for me to continue my momentum and do even better.”
The 27-year-old is now meant to be entering the prime of his career and he believes that he is ready physically to continue his progress:
“I can tell you in one or two years. It is true that I am in a phase where I feel good.

“Physically I have no problems; I know my body. I know when I must recover when I need certain things. And it allows me to avoid injury.”
Sissoko was something of a shock signing from Tottenham in the summer, with the club spending £30 million to bring him in from relegated side Newcastle.
So far it is not a move that has excited Spurs fans. Sissoko is yet to impress in a Tottenham shirt since he made his move from the North-East and fans are hoping for much better from the French star.

Tottenham fans must wait and see if their expensive gamble paid off or not but his comments will probably not go down well with Newcastle United fans, as he considers a year involving a relegation with the club among the best in his career.
Another reason for him to be fairly unpopular at St James’ Park.
