Newcastle United are interested in signing Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window, according to RMC Sport.
The French news outlet has claimed that Newcastle have already made contact with PSG over signing Navas.
However, French giants PSG have turned down the Premier League club.
Keylor Navas to Newcastle is very unlikely
In our opinion, it is very unlikely that Navas will join Newcastle anytime soon.
The 35-year-old is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has been playing for big teams for years.
Navas was on the books of Real Madrid from 2014 until 2019 before his move to PSG.

The Costa Rica international goalkeeper won the La Liga title once and the Champions League thrice with Madrid.
During his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, Navas also gave free-kicks tips to a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.
Back in April 2016, Ronaldo scored from a free kick against Wolfsburg to put Madrid through to the Champions League semi-finals.
It was the third goal in the Portugal international’s hat-trick against the German club.
Madrid won 3-0.
Goal quoted Ronaldo, now at Manchester United, as saying at the time: “We train together.
“And he’ll kill me for telling you, but he said that I should take it slowly, not run at full pelt because he knew I’d score.”
Navas has won the Ligue 1 title once with PSG.
The PSG no. 1 has made 12 appearances in Ligue 1 and three appearances in the Champions League so far this season.
We think that Navas would be a brilliant signing for Newcastle and would be an upgrade on Martin Dúbravka, but we do not think that the PSG goalkeeper would be willing to move to a team who could end up in the Championship next season.
