As Newcastle prepare to face Manchester United on Sunday, we have tried to call Eddie Howe’s predicted lineup.

Coming off their 2-1 victory against Nottingham Forest before the international break, we foresee Eddie Howe just making 1 change to his side.

Newcastle United predicted lineup vs Manchester United

Considering Eddie Howe told Chronicle Live that the “signs are good” regarding Nick Pope’s fitness, he is expected to start in our Newcastle predicted lineup against Manchester United.

At right-back, Kieran Trippier is one of, if not the first name on the Magpies team sheet week in, week out.

Similarly, Fabian Schar is another likely starter, as he has gained undroppable status after what has been an impressive campaign from him.

While the same goes for Sven Botman, a food poisoning bout in Dubai has put his availability in question. However, we expect the Dutch centre-back to still be given the all-clear to start in our Newcastle predicted lineup against Manchester United.

An unchanged back four is likely to feature against Erik ten Hag’s side, with Dan Burn retaining his place in the side.

At the base of midfield, another guaranteed starter is Bruno Guimaraes, who has cemented his status as one of the outright best midfielders in the Premier League.

Alongside him are set to be Joe Willock and Sean Longstaff in our Newcastle predicted lineup against United.

On the right wing, Jacob Murphy is likely to retain his place in the XI, seeing how Miguel Almiron has been ruled out of action due to a thigh injury.

In the No.9 position, Alexander Isak starts without question.

On the left wing, Joelinton, described as a ‘leader’ by Eddie Howe could come in for Allan Saint-Maximin, as his tireless running tends to be favoured against ‘Big Six’ opposition.
