Paulo Dybala has rejected Newcastle United as he weighs up his options with his Juventus contract expiring this summer.

Dybala is a free agent this summer and has already confirmed that he will be leaving Juventus for nothing.

Dybala left the pitch against Lazio in tears last month, signalling the end of his time at Juventus.

The Argentinian joined from Palermo back in 2015 and racked up 115 goals 293 games for the Italian giants.

A quality attacker who can play in various roles and has plenty to offer at 28, Dybala will be a man in demand this summer.

Dybala has interest from a whole host of clubs.

For instance, ESPN reported in May that Arsenal had spoken to Dybala’s representatives about a potential deal.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Dybala only wants to join Inter Milan and has subsequently rejected three offers.

It’s stated that Dybala has rejected proposals from Newcastle United as well as Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund.

Newcastle have ambitious plans thanks to the investment from PIF and seemingly felt they would lure Dybala to the Premier League.

It’s still early days in this Newcastle project though and it may take a couple of windows for them to really attract big names like Dybala.

Still, it’s incredibly exciting for Newcastle fans to even be mentioned in the conversation for signings like Dybala.

It’s not all that long ago that Newcastle wouldn’t agree to a loan deal for Hamza Choudhury under Mike Ashley’s reign.

Dybala looks set for Inter in a move that may anger some Juventus fans given the rivalry between the two clubs.

Should anything go wrong, Newcastle may have another try but it sounds like Dybala has made his decision and won’t be heading to St James’ Park.
