Newcastle United have now targeted a move for Red Bull Salzburg attacker Noah Okafor in an effort to bolster their front line.
TEAMtalk report that Newcastle have now added Okafor to their wish list as they chase a new striker.
Callum Wilson is out injured for many weeks to come, meaning Newcastle must find another goal threat.
From Chris Wood to Divock Origi, from Bamba Dieng to Hugo Ekitike, Newcastle are being linked with strikers all over the world.
The latest name is Okafor, with claims that Newcastle are now looking to sign the Red Bull Salzburg star this month.
Okafor is understood to be open to the move, and Newcastle have been told by the player’s representatives that a deal can be done.
Okafor isn’t a household name right now, but it looks like he is destined for a huge future.
The 21-year-old has smashed 11 goals and five assists in 23 games this season, already bettering lat season’s record of six goals and six assists in 29 games.

Primarily a striker who can also play out wide, Okafor has ‘magnificent’ pace, technique and power according to Swiss Under-21 boss Mauro Lustrinelli.
Lustrinelli added that he thinks Okafor will have an ‘extraordinary’ career if he continues to develop in the future – a future that could be with Newcastle.
That’s very exciting for Newcastle fans, who would love to see some more pace and excitement added in attack.
