Newcastle United remain keen on Aston Villa, according to reports, and now could be the time for Rafael Benitez to strike.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Newcastle United remain interested in Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.
Newcastle have put the attacking midfielder on their wishlist this summer, and now may be the time to strike if they really want him.
Villa may reportedly be forced to sell Grealish in the coming days, as claret and blues owner Tony Xia is struggling to find ways to finance the club.

Villa have apparently been unable to find any other loan offers, and no extra finance is incoming from outside sources.
That means that Villa could be forced to sell Grealish for below his asking price, and that should put Newcastle on alert.
Newcastle had previously struggled to pay Villa’s asking price for Grealish, which was set at £40 million according to the Daily Mail.

However, there have been suggestions that a bid of around £25 million could now tempt Xia into a sale.
And Newcastle must see the potential in doing a deal over the coming weeks, as it could be one of the bargains of the summer.
