Newcastle United are reportedly big admirers of the Chelsea midfielder.

Newcastle United should be alerted to Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s latest comments to the Guardian, as they may just offer them hope of completing an unlikely deal for the Chelsea man.
The Chronicle have reported how Newcastle are keen admirers of Loftus-Cheek, but any deal initially seemed highly unlikely.
However, the young midfielder has stated today that he won’t stay at Chelsea next season, unless he is given regular first-team football.
He said: “That’s the key for me next season regarding where I end up: I want to play.

“I want to play as much as I can. And even this past season I didn’t play as much as I would have liked, because of the injuries and stuff, so I still feel I need a proper season of playing, wherever it is.”
Newcastle could offer Loftus-Cheek just what he wants, so Rafael Benitez should take note of the comments.
Newcastle have a good relationship with Chelsea, having taken Kenedy on loan from them last season, so they could be in an advantageous position to do a deal.

The Daily Mail claim that Chelsea are looking for £25 million for Loftus-Cheek, which could prove prohibitive for Newcastle, but whether Mike Ashley will loosen the pursestrings to complete such a deal remains to be seen.
Loftus-Cheek would surely be one of Newcastle’s most exciting additions for years, if he was to arrive at St. James’ Park, and Benitez should be very interested in the 22-year-old’s latest comments.
