Newcastle United are said to be keen on Everton winger Yannick Bolasie, with Rafael Benitez hunting new additions.

If Newcastle United pay £10 million for Everton’s Yannick Bolasie it would be a baffling transfer.
Newcastle are thought to want to sign the trickster from Everton this summer, and the Liverpool Echo claim that Rafael Benitez’s side would have to pay £10 million to secure his services.
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle will meet Everton’s asking price, but if they do then the St. James’ Park crowd will surely be asking questions.
Benitez has made Salomon Rondon his number one target this summer, but Newcastle are yet to sanction a move for the powerful forward.
Rondon is tried and tested at Newcastle, where he has already proven his worth.
If the Magpies went on to sanction a similarly expensive move for Bolasie then it would just make no sense.

Bolasie is the same age as Rondon and while he is slightly cheaper than the Venezuelan there is considerably more risk around his transfer.
Bolasie has failed to show any sort of form in England for over two years now, meaning he would be a huge gamble.
And if Newcastle did sanction a move for Bolasie but not Rondon for the sake of £6.5 million it would leave questions being asked around Tyneside.
