Newcastle United are said to be interested in signing the Liverpool attacker.

Wilson is said to want to quit Liverpool in the hope of getting more regular action elsewhere, with Jurgen Klopp’s side now preparing to sell the Welsh international for £25 million (Mail).
Newcastle are one of a number of clubs who are interested in taking Wilson, and they may be his perfect fit.
Wilson ideally wants first-team football at the top level, and Newcastle can offer him that.
The Magpies are in competition with the likes of Crystal Palace and Southampton for Wilson, but there are more question marks about where he slots in at either of those clubs.
Palace already build their attacks around Wilfried Zaha, and they also have Andros Townsend on the other flank, while Southampton have used Nathan Redmond as the focal point of their offensive line-up in recent months.
Newcastle still need someone to step up and be the key playmaker for them though, and Wilson could fill that role.

The youngster has enjoyed a wonderful season at Championship level, and looks ready to make an impact at the top level.
Newcastle do have the solid Matt Ritchie and the exciting Miguel Almiron to call upon, but Wilson could still back his ability to become the key man in Newcastle’s attack over either of the pair.
Almiron is just starting out at Newcastle, while Ritchie is a dependable option, rather than a flair player.
Wilson would, therefore, have a huge opportunity if he was to move to St. James’ Park – and it looks like the perfect move for him at this stage of his career.
