The Newcastle United midfielder has been speaking about his future at the Championship leaders.
Newcastle United midfielder Haris Vuckic has told the Telegraph and Argus that Rafael Benitez is the right candidate to take the Magpies back to the Premier League and can even achieve European football.
Vuckic also spoke about his own future at Newcastle and whilst he says that things may change, he does not see himself as part of the club’s future, when he returns from a six-month loan deal at Bradford City in January.
The 24-year-old told the Telegraph and Argus: “The right people came into the club. They are doing really well and hopefully can keep it going and get the club where they should be.

“That’s not just in the Premier League, but near the top pushing for Europe. I think the club can achieve that.
“I don’t know the manager’s thoughts but as everybody says, Newcastle is a sleeping giant. Hopefully Rafa can wake it up.
“At the moment, no I cannot see my future there. As I said, football can change. But right now, I don’t think I’m in Newcastle’s plans.
“There are many clubs, so hopefully I’m going to find the right one where I’m going to be the main man and play all the time. That’s my target. Sometimes you have to go a bit lower and step back to go forward again.”

The Slovenia international has become somewhat of a forgotten figure at Newcastle and has spent large portion of his seven years with the Magpies on loan to the likes of Bradford, Rangers, Wigan Athletic, Rotherham United and Cardiff City, respectively.
Attacking midfielder Vuckic has scored only one goal during his time on Tyneside in 19 appearances and will return to Newcastle once his time at Bradford finishes on January 3.
Vuckic has made a good impression for the Bantams this season, having scored twice and making two assists in six appearances.
