Newcastle United are targeting some big names after their takeover, with Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic one of the top names.
The Sun reported earlier this week that Brozovic is being lined up as Newcastle’s first major signing of this new era.
The Croatian international is out of contract at the end of the season and could be a bargain signing in 2022.
Newcastle have allegedly made initial contact with Brozovic’s camp ahead of potentially luring him to St James’ Park.

Brozovic featured for Inter on Wednesday night as they faced Sheriff Tiraspol in the Champions League.
Inter were finding it difficult to break down their Moldovan opponents before Brozovic stepped up.
Picking up a loose ball on the edge of the box, Brozovic faked his way past one player before driving a shot into the net.
Inter went on to win 3-1 as Milan Skriniar and Alexis Sanchez also got on the scoresheet.
This is exactly why Newcastle want Brozovic; a quality ball player who can dictate play from deep and also make an impact in the final third.
Signing him won’t be easy, but Brozovic continues to show why he would be an exciting capture from Newcastle.
