Newcastle United have been made joint-second favourites to sign Ivan Cavaleiro, after Bet Victor opened a market on the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger’s next club.

Wolves are being strongly tipped to sign Middlesbrough’s Adama Traore – a move that is sure to cast further doubt over Cavaleiro’s Molineux future, after links to Fulham and Huddersfield Town earlier in the summer.

Newcastle, though, are yet to be credited with interest in the Portugal international, but are as short as 4/1 to land him nonetheless – behind Fulham (2/1) and alongside Huddersfield.

Even if they are keen on Cavaleiro, however, Newcastle could struggle to fund a move without moving other players on first.
