Wolves are being strongly tipped to sign Middlesbrough’s Adama Traore – a move that is sure to cast further doubt over Cavaleiro’s Molineux future, after links to Fulham and Huddersfield Town earlier in the summer.
Newcastle, though, are yet to be credited with interest in the Portugal international, but are as short as 4/1 to land him nonetheless – behind Fulham (2/1) and alongside Huddersfield.
Even if they are keen on Cavaleiro, however, Newcastle could struggle to fund a move without moving other players on first.
Wolves are already said to have turned down bids of £12 million from Huddersfield and Fulham – the latter of whom were ready to offer as much as £16 million [Teamtalk].
