Former Manchester United prospect Tom Heaton is reportedly being targeted by Premier League duo Newcastle United and Everton.

Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton has told The Express that he is not looking to leave in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old is on the radar of Premier League outfit Newcastle United, according to The Sun.

The British tabloid claimed last week that both the Magpies and Everton are interested in Heaton and are planning a £2 million bid.

However, Heaton has insisted that he is fully committed to the Clarets, despite their relegation from the Premier League.

“It’s been fantastic in the Premier League but I’ve had a fantastic time at Burnley this season and last,” the former Manchester United prospect told The Express.

“I’ve got two years left here and I’m thoroughly enjoying it, so the focus is 100 per cent on Burnley.”

Heaton is an academy product of European giants United, but he failed to make a single Premier League appearance for the Red Devils.

The 29-year-old joined Burnley in the summer of 2013 and is under contract at Turf Moor until June 2017.

The former Cardiff City man is one of the better players in the current Burnley squad and has featured in all 37 Premier League matches for the Clarets this season.

Heaton has kept nine clean sheets in those games, while making an average of 2.51 saves per match and 1.82 saves per goal.
