Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have made an offer to Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, according to Alfredo Pedulla.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Newcastle are keen on signing Dybala on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 when his current contract at Juventus runs out.

The 28-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, will reportedly study the offer at the end of the season.

Dybala has an offer from Tottenham Hotspur as well, according to the report.

Paulo Dybala would be a coup for Newcastle United

In our opinion, Paulo Dybala would be a coup for Newcastle and would make the Magpies a better and more potent team in attack.

The Argentine is at the top of his game and would be able to make an immediate impact at St. James’ Park.

Dybala is used to winning major trophies and challenging for titles, so a move to Newcastle may not appeal to him.

Yes, PIF could easily afford to pay the Argentine’s salary of £222,000 per week (Salary Sport), but Newcastle are not in a position to challenge for the Premier League title just yet.

However, you never know what could happen when the transfer window is open.

Dybala has scored eight goals and given five assists in 22 Serie A starts, and scored three goals and gave one assist in three Champions League starts for Juventus this season.
