Newcastle United are currently flying high at the top of the Championship. The Magpies are seemingly on the verge of an immediate return to the Premier League after relegation last season.

It has been an impressive performance from the side.

One player who has had to watch on from afar has been Rolando Aarons. The winger has played five times this season, but has not played for the club since the EFL Cup win against Cheltenham Town back in August.

He is however hopeful that he can make his way back into the Newcastle team again, when they are likely to be in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old took to Twitter earlier to send out this post to his followers, sharing his hopes for next season:

The wing wizard is an immense talent but injuries have been a massive hindrance on his career. He played just 11 times last season because of various injury problems.

He has suffered with severe hamstring problems and is currently out of action with a knee ligament injury, which is expected to keep him out of action until the end of the season.

Newcastle fans will no doubt hope Aarons can put his injury troubles behind him and become a star at St James Park.
