Graham Arnold has praised Garang Kuol after calling the Newcastle United-bound teenager into the Australia squad for the World Cup.
Kuol, 18, has emerged as a real wonderkid with Central Coast Mariners.
The speedy and skilful attacker has shown enormous potential with the Mariners, bagging four goals and three assists in 12 games.
Kuol has not only become an Australia international but has already agreed to sign for Newcastle United in the January transfer window.

Newcastle clearly didn’t want to risk seeing Kuol excel at the World Cup and then move on elsewhere.
The deal was done in late September and Newcastle fans likely can’t wait to see him in action for the Magpies.
The World Cup comes first though and Newcastle are likely to loan Kuol out in January anyway.
Kuol’s place in the Australia World Cup squad was confirmed on Monday night and whilst he is likely to be a substitute, he could be a real game-changer.
The teenager will be in contention for group stage games against France, Tunisia and Denmark.
Australia boss Graham Arnold has now commented on the decision to pick Kuol in his squad after just one senior cap.
Arnold has been quoted by Sky Sports as saying that Kuol just ‘wants to entertain’ and believes he can change a game given that he has zero fear.
“The kid just needs to be himself,” said Arnold. “Garang has showed how he can change a game. He has zero fear and he wants to entertain,” he added.
Newcastle fans love an entertainer.
The likes of Faustino Asprilla, David Ginola, Hatem Ben Arfa, Paul Gascoigne, Laurent Robert and now Allan Saint-Maximin spring to mind.
Kuol will be looking to become just like Saint-Maximin; a skilful sensation in the Newcastle attack who fans love to see in action.
The teenager has that potential and with Arnold clearly impressed with his entertaining abilities, it sounds like Kuol and Newcastle could be a perfect match.
