Newcastle United are now being linked with a move to sign Juventus winger Federico Chiesa as they prepare to spend big after their takeover.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who claim that Newcastle are now a major ‘danger’ to Chiesa staying at Juventus.
A deal of around €120million (£102million) would be needed for Chiesa, which Newcastle could pay after their takeover.
Juventus fear losing Chiesa, and with Antonio Conte also linked to Newcastle, the Italian duo could join forces at St James’ Park.
The 23-year-old winger racked up 15 goals and 11 assists last season before dazzling at Euro 2020 as well.
Ronaldo wants Newcastle target Chiesa at Manchester United
Links to Newcastle come mere days after Chiesa was tipped for a move to Manchester United.

Calciomercato reported that Cristiano Ronaldo is calling for the Red Devils to splash the cash on Chiesa.
Ronaldo played with Chiesa at Juventus last season and is seemingly desperate to play with him again.
Add in that Liverpool offered £86million for Chiesa according to La Repubblica and this could be a tough chase for Newcastle.
Newcastle’s spending power will be huge thanks to their Saudi-led owners, and beating United and Liverpool to Chiesa would be some start to their project.
