Is Newcastle United star being modest?
There have not been many players in recent years who have united the Newcastle faithful in sheer admiration, but Jonas Gutierrez was one.
The Argentine gave his all whenever he was on the pitch, and came through a serious illness after being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment.
After successful surgery, it was a dream ending for him to score the goal which kept them in the Premier League in 2014/15, even if he was scandalously later released by the club.
