Newcastle United fans want Chancel Mbemba recalled.

It seems like absence has made the hearts of Newcastle United fans grow fonder with regards to Chancel Mbemba.
Newcastle go to West Brom in the Premier League tonight as Rafael Benitez’s side look to bounce back from the demoralising 3-0 defeat to Watford at St James’s Park on Saturday.
The Magpies have now lost their last four league games, conceding nine goals and scoring once during that period, and it’s obvious that Benitez needs to make changes defensively.

The 23-year-old centre-back, an £8.5 million in 2015, hasn’t kicked a ball for Newcastle since September but he has previously impressed in a left-back role there this season.
And fans of the Tyneside club are desperate for Mbemba to be called.

United have struggled without regular left-back Paul Dummett, who has been injured since the first game of the season, but of all the men who have stood in for the local man, Mbemba has been the strongest.
Javier Manquillo and Jesus Gamez have done okay, but the Congo international is a better defender than both and recalling him makes sense.
