Newcastle United fans are urging Rafael Benitez to drop Ayoze Perez and try out a new number 10 in their next match.
Benitez has shown patience with Perez this season, but the Spanish play maker has not particularly impressed.
Perez is yet to score in six Premier League appearances this term, and only has one assist to his name.
The 24-year-old forward was well off the pace in Newcastle’s last match, as the Magpies slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion.
And Newcastle fans have decided that Perez should be dropped for the next match, as he has not done enough to justify keeping his place.
Newcastle have made a fairly bright start to their Premier League season, winning three of their first six matches.
However, there are some concerns about the profligacy in Newcastle’s attack – with Benitez still searching to find a prolific scorer.
Newcastle’s next Premier League match comes against Liverpool at St. James’ Park.
