Santi Cazorla is set to leave Arsenal this summer and Newcastle could be tempted to make a move.

Santi Cazorla has confirmed to Arsenal fans that he will be leaving the club at the end of his contract, which expires at the end of June – and Newcastle fans have urged Rafa Benitez to consider a move.
The 33-year-old playmaker has failed to make a single appearance for Arsenal this season, as well as missing the majority of the 2016-17 campaign due to a long-term achilles injury.

The problem got so bad at one stage, that gangrene had begun to develop on the former Malaga star’s ankle and amputation was even considered by the Spain international.
Now, Cazorla has confirmed on Twitter that he will be leaving the Gunners this summer when his contract – worth £90,000 a week according to the Daily Star – expires on June 30.
Newcastle fans have reacted in their drones to the news that Cazorla will leave the Gunners, urging Rafa Benitez and the Toon to consider a move to land the left-footed star on a free this summer.
It would see Newcastle’s Spanish contingent continue to rise, with manager Rafa Benitez and much of his coaching staff sharing nationality with the likes of Joselu, Mikel Merino, Javier Manquillo and Ayoze Perez.
One fan claimed he would have Cazorla in Newcastle’s side “ahead of Perez”.
