Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez is thought to be on the look out for a left-back.
Newcastle United supporters have suggested moving for Alberto Moreno, following his release from Liverpool.
Moreno is now a free agent, and Newcastle are looking for a left-back to add competition for Paul Dummett.
The Spanish international could now be an option at St. James’ Park.
And Newcastle fans are urging Benitez to make a move for the 26-year-old.
Moreno may not be the sturdiest defender, but his attacking qualities still make him a potentially exciting addition for Newcastle.
Moreno certainly could offer very good value for money on a free transfer, as he has Premier League experience and clearly is capable of playing at the top level.
Newcastle have made slow progress in the transfer window so far though, as they still have not sorted out Benitez’s future.
It is unclear whether Benitez will be at Newcastle next season, and the Magpies are not making transfer moves until their manager’s future is sorted.
